I can't watch any of those videos anymore. I was on my second day at a job in a tall business tower that had a sighline to the Pentagon -- saw the plane heading in, then heard the boom and saw all that black smoke. And my BIL helped fight the fire -- he was shell-shocked for a long time.
I have a hard time with it too. My little brother works at the Pentagon and I couldn't get a hold of him that day for a long time. We have family that worked in the Towers too. It was terrifying to watch...
Still breaks my heart every time. FYI...I love the song playing by Velvet Revolver - a tribute to those killed.
I worry sometimes that people are "forgetting" the horror of that day...why we are fighting the war on terror. We must never forget.
